Carlos, Assistant Vice President in the Southeast region, brings a comprehensive understanding of pre-construction project management, design liability risk management and administration of construction contracts. He oversees services including owner’s representation, property condition assessments and pre-construction project reviews within the U.S., Puerto Rico and Latin America.
Carlos has over 20 years of domestic and international experience in the architectural design, construction administration and project management of a wide variety of building types. His areas of concentration include project development and construction contract administration of retail, office, multifamily, hospitality, entertainment and healthcare projects.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, master’s degree in architecture from the University of Houston and an MBA from the Instituto Techologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. Carlos is a registered architect in Texas and Mexico as well as a LEED Accredited Professional with the BD+C specialty. He also holds a Registered Roof Observer (RRO) certificate by RCI and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Texas Society of Architects.
