Rand, Assistant Vice President, is responsible for management and operations in the Southeast region. Combining both fundamental and technical skills tailored to meet the specific needs of each client, he provides quality due diligence and project management services to clients.

Rand has thorough knowledge of building design and construction techniques. With 45 years of experience in the construction and architecture fields, serving as both the design architect and general contractor/builder, he has successfully completed projects ranging from single-family housing to hotels and medical facilities. Prior to joining Marx|Okubo, Rand worked with several multi-national architectural firms, ultimately forming his own company.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Texas A&M University and is a licensed architect in Texas, Colorado, Florida, and Virginia. Rand is certified with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Texas Society of Architects.
