Sandy, Vice President and a key part of the West region’s senior management, has been a longstanding member of the Marx|Okubo team for over two decades. She focuses on developing client relationships and business for the West region and is a client manager for national institutional clients. She is also engaged as a firm leader in design and constructability reviews, property condition assessments, owner’s representation, detailed cost analyses, and accessibility reviews. In her roles, she provides solutions to clients’ needs, maintains and strengthens existing client connections, and develops new relationships.
Sandy has been working in the fields of architecture and construction for nearly three decades, including design/build work. Her experience has included design development, construction document preparation, and construction administration for the renovation of residential properties, as well as owner’s representation of residential, retail, and office properties. She has performed many forensic investigations focused on exterior envelope issues.
Sandy earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of California - Berkeley. She is a licensed architect in California and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), as well as a Certified Access Specialist (CASp) in California.
