As Administrative Team Leader for Marx|Okubo’s Southeast region, Tesla plays an essential role in managing and supporting administrative staff while overseeing project coordination and quality control. Working alongside the Manager of Administration, she is instrumental in managing workload distribution, coaching team members, and ensuring operational efficiency across multiple service lines.
Tesla is responsible for reviewing and gathering financial information, coordinating deliverables, and supporting the management of staff performance and development. She plays an integral role in various projects, including pre-construction project reviews, property condition assessments, and ongoing owner’s representation and construction loan monitoring. Her keen attention to detail and analytical expertise ensures the accuracy and quality of reports, contributing to the firm’s high standards and client satisfaction.
With over six years of experience in auditing and data analysis, along with three years of experience in accounting and project cost allocation, Tesla brings a strong financial acumen to her role. Prior to joining Marx|Okubo, she worked for the State of Florida, most recently serving as a project cost accountant for the Florida Department of Transportation’s General Accounting Office.
Tesla holds an associate of arts degree from Tallahassee Community College and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. Her commitment to professional growth, leadership, and operational excellence continues to elevate the Southeast region’s administrative team.
