At Marx|Okubo, we have an ongoing commitment to making organizational changes to continue to evolve, stay agile to meet changing market needs, and bolster our teams. To get there, we are committed fostering a workplace that not only rewards hard work, but also provides a supportive environment for professional development and personal growth.
In that spirit, Marx|Okubo is excited to announce some new positions and promotions that are effective in this new year—roles of Executive Vice President and Vice President - Technical Services.
Charles Killebrew, who has been a very valuable leader and team member within Marx|Okubo for 10 years, has been elevated to the position of Executive Vice President, with a focus on driving operational alignment, optimization, and financial outcomes across the organization. As Charles has long-standing experience of leading a region and multiple teams, as well as an understanding of Marx|Okubo’s bigger-picture outlooks and goals, he will be actively engaged in firm strategy and its implementation across regional teams, collaborating with other leaders in the firm.
Tommy Fong, AIA and James La Terza, both longtime leaders and team members at Marx|Okubo with 25 and 9 years respectively with the firm, have each moved into a new level and a position in the organization as Vice President - Technical Services. As technical expertise is central to our firm’s value proposition, these key roles will own, focus on, and continue to sharpen our competency at an enterprise level with quality, efficiency, and streamlined learning. Both James and Tommy bring their experience and unique abilities to synthesize and effectively share information, as well as collaborate well with other leaders in the firm with clarity and purpose.
Please join us in congratulating Charles, Tommy, and James! They will continue to contribute their expertise to our talented team, collective innovative mindset, and collaborative spirit that continue to make us a trusted advisor to our clients and in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
