Hollywood Center Studios

Marx|Okubo completed a system-specific review of the photovoltaic panels on sound stages of the Hollywood Center Studios in Los Angeles, California. The 369,000-square-foot facility, now known as the Sunset Las Palmas Studios, consists of 13 stages, production offices and support space on 15 acres near Hudson Pacific’s Sunset Gower and Sunset Bronson Studios. The work was performed in conjunction with a full condition assessment of the studio facilities prior to the acquisition of the property by Hudson Pacific.

The review enabled us to determine the condition of the installations on individual buildings as well to make recommendations for potential upgrades that would improve system performance. The work was completed within the timeframe allotted for the property condition assessment and allowed the client a full, integrated picture of all facility needs and opportunities.
