CLIENT: Sequoia Living
LOCATION: Multiple locations in the Bay Area - San Francisco, Portola Valley, San Jose, Marin
SERVICES: Facility condition assessment , Project management
ASSET TYPES: Multifamily residential
Recently, Sequoia Living, a Bay Area nonprofit organization that provides housing to older adults from all economic backgrounds, engaged Marx|Okubo to provide comprehensive facilities management services, which include performing facility condition and APPA assessments on seven different multifamily properties including affordable housing and senior living properties.
Part of this effort includes developing detailed capital expenditure (CapEx) schedules collaboratively with Sequoia. These schedules prioritize and schedule any facility work to leverage available funds and minimize operational impacts. Our team will develop the work orders and either procure the necessary services or provide the engineering/design, bid, and management of the projects. This holistic approach to the development of CapEx schedules and proper management of their portfolio enables Sequoia Living and its board of trustees to better develop long-term strategic planning goals and budgets that set up the community for future success.
This will be an ongoing, multi-year project and will allow us to customize a variety of services for our client to help them make better decisions in support of this community.
